Jasmine (Jazzy) Edmunds- Rocky Hill (Softball): Edmunds was selected All-State, becoming the first Rocky Hill softball player since Riley Pickett in 2017 to earn the honor. The junior has 70 hits (37 as a freshman in 2019) in two high school seasons, including a team-leading 32 this spring. Edmunds, who plays outfield and catcher, also led the Terriers in runs scored (30) and was tied for second on the team in RBIs (21), while hitting .471 from the plate. 

Alex Bugnacki- Newington (Baseball): Bugnacki pitched a complete-game, no-hitter and had a pair of RBIs in an 8-0 with over HMTCA last Tuesday. Newington won all three games last week, including a 14-2 victory over Wethersfield on Monday behind Chase Prestia, who went 3-4 with a double and an RBI. The team closed the regular season with another win over HMTCA, winning 10-5 at Dunkin Donuts Park on Wednesday. Shaun Callahan smashed a 2-run home run in the regular season finale, which improved the team to 15-5.

Carly Reilly- Cromwell (Lacrosse): Reilly was named 2nd team all-conference, joining teammates Grace Michaud, Lilly David, Erin Sokolowski, who earned honorable mention honors. The four helped the Panthers win their regular season finale (7-6) over Bristol Central on May 22, ending the season on a high note.

Jacob Baclawski- Newington (Volleyball): Baclawski had 14 kills and six digs as Newington won another conference title, defeating Glastonbury in three sets to capture the CCC tournament crown. Through Newington first 22 matches (20-2), the senior leads the team in kills (250) and aces (76).    

Christian Friedman-Ringwood and Abby D’Agnese- Wethersfield (Architectural): Friedman-Ringwood and D’Agnese took first and second in the CT Home Builders Student Design Contest. Friedman-Ringwood earned $1000 and a $1500 scholarship for his design, while D’Agnese earned $600 and a $750 scholarship for her design.
